GSW Hot Glue Gun

Hot glue is a versatile adhesive with many applications in handcrafts hobbies and DIY projects. You will find it useful for gluing together cork, foam or plasticard (e.g. when making dioramas), wood or fabric.

SAFETY WARNINGS:

• THE WORKING END HEATS UP TO VERY HIGH TEMPERATURES AND MAY CAUSE BURNS IF HANDLED RECKLESSLY!
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!!!
• DO NOT TOUCH THE HOT END WHEN IN USE!!!
• UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE!!! Let the device cool down before storing it.
• ALWAYS REST ON THE STAND, do not let the hot end touch any surfaces to avoid burns!
• DO NOT INHALE FUMES! Most glue sticks are non-toxic, but it's still recommended to work in a well-ventilated area.

The extruding end of the device is made of brass and heats up as soon as the device is plugged in. Please exercise due caution and do not touch it or let it touch any surfaces to avoid burns! Heating temperature can be regulated using the dial on the handle.

For use, follow this instruction:

1. Make sure the device is unplugged and cool before beginning!
2. Insert a 11mm hot glue stick into the rear end, as indicated on the packaging.
3. Adjust the power setting for your project. Lower temperatures are better for delicate materials, such as paper or fabric, higher temperatures are for tougher materials like wood or metal.
4. Allow 3-5 minutes for the device to heat up.
5. Once heated, engage the trigger to release the adhesive onto the surface of your project. We recommend doing your own research for best techniques of application.
6. Once the glue is applied, hold the parts being glued together firmly for several seconds. The glue cools down very quickly, so you will not have much time to adjust. Use clamps or weights to ensure a better bond.
   
7. After use, unplug the device and let the working end to cool down before removing the device for storage.
   

Offers power settings between 120W and 150W and can reach 100-220ºC. Wired with a EU schuko power plug.

Only compatible with 11mm diameter glue sticks.
