Vallejo Xpress Color - 72.484 - Hospitalier Black

Vallejo Xpress Color are "one-coat" paints formulated to paint miniatures quickly and easily!

Xpress Color Intense have a higher pigment density, providing more vivid colours and saturated shades.

It is recommended to apply them over a white or grey primer or undercoat.

This paint will naturally flow toward crevices much like a wash, pooling into a darker impression of the color, while also tinting open areas and creating midtones there. It will flow away from edges and the like the most, exposing the underlying basecoat and creating natural highlights.

You can use them to paint a miniature in its entiriety, or use them selectively as washes, filters or glazes. They can be used with a regular paintbrush or sprayed with an airbrush. They can even be mixed together with each other to create new colours, or diluted with Vallejo Xpress Medium, which will maintain their special properties.
