Vortex Mixer

Vortex Mixers are a popular tool for artists working with acrylic paints or ink. They are also sometimes called a "paint shaker" or "ink shaker."

The simple electric motor will shake your paint bottle, creating a vortex of liquid inside. This will help mix your paints faster and more thoroughly, while sparing your wrists the strain of manual effort.

It may potentially be used to shake and mix any kind of liquid, not only paints, but to prolong the device's lifetime we recommend to use it specifically for acrylic paints and inks, and avoid trying to use it with heavy amounts of liquid (e.g. >200ml containers).

Vibrations from this device can still negatively affect your joints, so we recommend to avoid using it for longer than 5 minutes in one sitting, and allow your hands to rest a bit between uses. Generally you will not need to hold a paint container to the device for longer than 15-20 seconds to mix it thoroughly.
